Joint Planning Commission and Department of Ecology Public Hearing
On the morning of October 16, 2026, the advertised Joint Planning Commission and Department of Ecology (DOE) public hearing to review and take comments on the proposed amendments to the Critical Areas Ordinances (CAO) and corresponding amendments to the Shoreline Master Program (SMP) will take place.

The public hearing will be available online and in person in the County's legislative hearing room, at 55 Second street, Friday Harbor, San Juan Island.
