San Juan Islands Climate Action

Communitywide Climate Survey #2

San Juan County is developing a Climate Action Plan (CAP) to guide how we respond to climate change impacts while protecting our community and environment. This survey is collecting information for the County's long-range planningbuilding on previous community engagement, a greenhouse gas emissions inventory and climate vulnerability assessment, and the Climate Element goals and policies adopted through the Comprehensive Plan. To learn more, please visit the Climate Action Project page.

Potential actions reflect the County’s commitment to carrying out Comprehensive Plan policies across County operations. However, given the current budget restraints and resource limitations, it is essential that we refine priorities, focus on our community’s health and safety, and creatively leverage existing resources, funding and partnerships. This survey focuses on how local government can work with the community to take action in ways that are realistic, effective, and aligned with community values.

This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete -- most questions are optional, and you may skip any sections you don't wish to respond to by clicking 'Next'. Your input is important to us, and we appreciate you taking time to share your feedback!
